BreAnna :: 2020 Senior

Why am I doing this to myself?! These seniors and their summer sessions are just. so. pretty! I can’t wait to take the stroller out for a walk without having to cover my baby from the cold air!

This session is everything lovely summer and that awesome feeling of knowing your big year is about to start. Yes, I do have hope that summer and the happy feeling of knowing what is coming AND liking the idea of it will be back. In the meantime, BreAnna’s session reminds us that summer exists, and it will be back whether COVID is still around or not. 🙂 Bre’s session was fun as it looks, and just going through her images agin makes me soooo excited for sessions to come. Here’s to BreAnna, who I really can’t even believe is already a senior! Congrats, girl.

Muah. Stay wonderful.

Jamee :: 2020 Senior

Continuing our senior party train…I feel like I just got dunked into summer and came back with a tan. Jamee’s session has all the colors and honestly I feel like we went through every possible lighting scenario in one evening, which made us work harder BUT also gave us all the goodies when it comes to variety in one session. Yay. And she’s super sweet. Have a scroll!

“She’s a cowboy now!” My two year old just lit up. No, no, sweet Eleanor. That is a sun hat. A glorious sun hat I only wish I could rock. Someday you will learn about such sophisticated things. In the meantime, let it be known that Jamee has achieved the elusive sun hat success.
The embroidery on this shirt is just yes. The colors of her outfits and the summer scenery is just yes.
I want to be her right now. Get me to that sunset.

And a casual peace out. Congrats, Jamee. I loved being your senior photographer!

🙂 Bailey

Adria :: 2020 Senior

This is the time of the year to be celebrating our seniors, enjoying special “lasts” and showering them with all the love before they close this special chapter and are sent off into the big wide world. While my own girls are FAR from ready to launch, and time will NEVER fly by that fast for us (right??? please????), I feel completely spoiled to partake in the special final year and celebrate the person they are so proud to call theirs.

If I get to party with them, then I also get to feel sad with them. Sad that their senior year isn’t ending how we all imagined and sad that there is still a big question mark on our party announcements where we should be filling in a date and time. So just in case you’re wondering what these awesome people look like because no one sees them anymore, I’ve decided to have a little party for each of my seniors right here on the blog. Imagine cake, ham buns, and ya…tons of pretty pictures.

So this is Adria. She’s got a spot in my heart that makes me love what I do. I feel like I got to know her a little more than most seniors because she sold me the yummiest beverages when I had the luxury of editing at a coffee shop after routine prenatal check ups. When someone totally nails your coffee drink, there is going to be a bond. You know what I mean?? And then there’s all this fun we had creating her senior photos…

Am I overposting? Maaayybe? I just LOVED this session with this girl and couldn’t choose. Big virtual hugs!

🙂 Bailey

Emilee + Daegan | Summer Engagement Photos | Greenbush Photographer

Emilee and Daegan met me at the junkyard (thanks Jon’s Auto Salvage!) to start off our evening of fun colors, gorgeous light, and just the right number of little kisses for this engaged couple. They learned what they are getting themselves into by choosing me for their wedding photographer, and I learned that they pretty much really like each other! The session flew by, and I love what we got. A few favorites…

And then of course we had to move on to the pretty greenery I always love and simple romantic outfits. I’m always a fan of white!

Canoe on Hayes Lake State Park Engagement Session | Steven + Katie | Roseau, Minnesota Photographer

I’ve been wanting to dust off my blog for the longest time, but of course, Eleanor takes shorter naps and is busier than ever when she’s awake! I love my days with her, and I’ve been soaking up the last month of quiet before busy season hits – wedding season will be officially underway in just a week and a half!

The first few weddings of the season will be destination weddings for me, which explains their choice of wedding date so early in the spring. And since they are so far away (first stop, Nashville!) we didn’t get a chance to do engagement photos. Although, I always work to make engagement sessions possible because they’re SO good for building our connection and working out any uneasiness couples have about the camera. Depending on the season, they’re always at least $100 off or free when I’m your wedding photographer.

So let’s talk about Katie and Steven now. With plans to be Mr. and Mrs. this June, they’re every bit as adorable as they seem. The first sparks of feelings came in Kindergarten, and remember when giving your classmates those little mini school photos was a thing? (is it still???) So cute. Steven’s was her favorite…
Uh. I love them.
This one of them on the dock was our very last photo of the evening. There was a cute little old couple fishing there, and we had to wait until they packed up. So much cuteness.

Katie and Steven, I’m excited to be counting down with you and so honored to be your choice! 💖Bailey
